This policy explains how PackSales collects, uses, retains, and discloses information when you browse the storefront, request a quote, submit artwork, use the packaging assistant, place an order request, or contact our team.

Information we collect

• Contact and order information: names, business names, email addresses, shipping addresses, order numbers, product selections, quantities, notes, and order communications.

• Artwork and project information: uploaded files, logos, images, designs, design-tool state, proofs, project instructions, and references to previous orders.

• Payment information: payment status and transaction details provided by payment processors. PackSales does not ask customers to place full card numbers or security codes in the packaging assistant or ordinary contact messages.

• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie or cart identifiers, requested pages, timestamps, error information, and security or abuse signals.

• Communications: contact forms, quote requests, newsletter requests, support messages, and packaging-assistant questions and responses.

How we use information

We use information to configure and price products; create, proof, produce, ship, and support orders; preserve carts and designs; respond to questions and quote requests; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot and improve the storefront; maintain business and legal records; communicate service messages; and send marketing messages requested by the recipient.

Cookies and similar technologies

The storefront uses cookies and similar storage needed to operate sessions, preserve a cart, restore designs, provide security, and remember relevant choices. We may also use analytics or measurement technologies to understand site use and improve performance. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but essential storefront features may then fail to work correctly.

Packaging assistant

Packaging-assistant conversations may be recorded, automatically processed, and reviewed by PackSales for support, security, quality, and improvement. General packaging questions may be processed using an external artificial-intelligence service after common payment and credential patterns are redacted. PackSales order-status lookups are handled through a separate customer-safe process; order details, tracking data, and internal production information are not sent to the external AI provider for the lookup response.

Do not enter card numbers, passwords, security codes, government identifiers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the assistant, artwork instructions, or contact forms.

How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the storefront, process payments, communicate with customers, produce orders, host or secure systems, analyze performance, and deliver shipments. We may also disclose information when required by law; to enforce agreements; to protect PackSales, customers, or others; in connection with a business reorganization or transfer; or with the customer's direction or consent.

Customer artwork and project information are shared internally and with production providers as reasonably necessary to prepare and fulfill the project. Public use of completed work is governed by the [Artwork, Proof & Intellectual Property Policy](artwork-proof-policy.cfm).

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, support reorders, maintain transaction and proof records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the business. Retention periods vary by record type. Customers should keep their own copies of original artwork; PackSales does not guarantee indefinite artwork storage.

PackSales uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline optional marketing, request that a project not be used in marketing before production, and contact us about access to or correction of information associated with your order. Requests are subject to identity verification, record-retention requirements, and applicable law. Transactional and service messages may still be sent when needed to fulfill or support an order.

Children

The storefront is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information for a child through the storefront.

Changes and contact
